Is it worth picking this up?

I wrote the first test version of File2Phone over 4 years ago, primarily as a way to get into WAP (wireless application protocol) programming arena.

Sadly, WAP seems to have largely died on its arse - no doubt in part to the limitations of the protocol in handling all but the most simple of sites.

Still, i'm sure there are uses for the protocol, and its pretty ubiquitous when it comes to mobile phones these days, if they have any sort of web access, its at least WAP enabled.

I had always considered that File2Phone would include a 'plugin' type architecture (again this one of my side projects to develop such an architecture). Some of the plugins were going to be really basic 'monitors' - particularly useful (so I thought) to the hordes of IT folk who had to monitor servers, databases etc on different machines and wanted a quick and easy way to do it remotely - the idea is you could WAP to a machine and from there access a wide variety of services etc.

Ultimately, I ran out of time on this whole project and never took it any further than the current state you see it in today - I don't even have time to write help documentation or anything else like it really.

So...with that in mind...is anyone out there actually using File2Phone?? Is it worth me picking this up again and continuing developing on it? Or is it just a waste of time??
